Clarifying credentials and lead times before sampling saves a full rework cycle later. The figures below are our standard terms.
Sampling before mass production is standard practice in eye-care customisation. Texture, adhesion, scent and packaging compatibility can only be judged on a physical sample — photos and specification sheets are not a substitute.
Sampling takes about 7–15 days. Send your target market, category, formula direction and packaging preference and we can start; if you already have a reference sample (a competitor product or photos), sending it significantly shortens formulation targeting.
| Stage | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Requirement confirmation | Target market, dosage form, claim direction, estimated quantity, packaging preference |
| Formula targeting | Match from the proven formula library, or develop against your brief |
| Sampling | About 7–15 days; physical samples shipped for evaluation |
| Feedback and adjustment | Revisions to texture, scent, skin feel and packaging fit |
| Sealed reference sample | Both parties sign off a sealed sample as the mass-production benchmark |
| Mass production | About 10–20 days, built to the sealed sample standard |
Samples of proven formulas are usually free or charged at cost only. Newly developed formulas may carry a sampling fee because of development work, which is credited against your order.
Yes. You can supply your own formula or a reference sample, and we will sample to that standard.
Yes, but custom packaging involves tooling and print minimums, so it usually comes after a production commitment. At sampling stage you can evaluate with stock packaging first.
